Once upon a time, there was a busy bee named Anechy. That’s me! Busy Bee Anechy waters her flowers every day, saves honey for the winter, and makes honey in the summer.

Reflecting on 2025

Last year was a whirlwind of creativity. I finished writing Book Two of The Adventures of Patti and Barci and began working on Book Three. I also wrote ten stories for the summer program “Lecturas en Familia,” launched my official website, and took care of my family.

The Challenges of 2025

My biggest hurdle remains finding a dedicated writing club. Nowadays, it is surprisingly difficult to gather a group of authors, even online. Many writers have begun to rely almost exclusively on AI. While that trend is everywhere, I am holding out hope to find a community of writers who want to grow together. My motto remains: “Keep it Human.”

My Proudest Moments

The last two years have been a masterclass for me. Every day, I dig deeper into the worlds of writing, self-publishing, and marketing. While I don’t consider myself an expert yet, I’ve gathered enough information to be “dangerous!”

Admittedly, during my ten years cruising the Caribbean, I fell behind on technology. Closing that knowledge gap has been a challenge, but 2025 was the year I finally caught up. Because of that hard work, I landed my first consulting job for another self-published author—the “Phantom Writer” I met 15 years ago, who wrote Bec.

Looking Ahead to 2026

My biggest wish for 2026 is to continue growing as a human being. I hope to keep finding kind souls along my path. I hope love touches every home, and I pray for an end to global conflicts. As Martin Luther King Jr. said: “Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”
